How To Discontinue Your Website And Keep Your Domain

There may be an occasion where you no longer need a website or need to discontinue it for a period of time, but still wish to retain ownership of your domain name. You can follow these steps to discontinue your site while keeping your domain.

1. Send an email to support@webstarts.com requesting to cancel the Pro Plus or Business Plan subscription. For efficiency, be sure to send the email from the email address on your account and specify which website.
2. In the email, let us know you wish to keep your domain registration Active.

What Happens Next?

We will cancel the subscription for you and reply to your email to confirm. Upon cancellation, the domain's connection to the site is immediately suspended. You won't have to do anything else because your domain renewal fee will automatically generate 30 days prior to the domain's expiration date.
