How To Secure An Existing Domain With An SSL Certificate

Here are the steps to secure your existing domain...

1. Make sure you've added your domain and have pointed it to our name servers or updated your A records (see https://help.webstarts.com/article/201-how-to-add-an-existing-domain-name-to-your-website).
2. View your domain to ensure it resolves via HTTP.
3. Head to your WebStarts account dashboard and click the SSL Certificate app panel located near the bottom of the account dashboard.
4. Click the Secure Your Site Now button to purchase the certificate.

Once that's done the site will be automatically secured within approximately 15-20 minutes and that's all there is to it.
