How To Create A Subdomain Website

A subdomain is a URL added to the beginning of a domain that creates a separate website under the domain branding (for example, help.webstarts.com loads our help site, call.webstarts.com loads our scheduling site, etc). There can be several benefits and purposes of a subdomain site like targeting a market segment, providing a translated site, providing a premium membership site, separate SEO for a store or blog site, etc.

To create a subdomain website follow the steps below.

Step 1. From your account dashboard, click the Add Domain button.

Step 2. Select "I already have a domain," enter the desired subdomain, then select Continue (for example, if I wanted to create a subdomain like call.webstarts.com, I would simply type in call.webstarts.com).

Step 3. Purchase a premium hosting subscription to connect the subdomain, then the subdomain will automatically go live within a few minutes.

Note: if you manage your DNS with another provider, be sure to add our A records to the DNS. For example, if I were creating call.webstarts.com I'd create an A record for call.webstarts.com and another A record for www.call.webstarts.com which both point to 3.13.192.206.
