Why Am I Seeing Email Storage Overage Charges

WebStarts has usage-based email storage billing.

Each mailbox includes 1 GB of storage. If a mailbox exceeds that limit, additional storage is billed at $6 per month for each extra GB used (rounded up).

This allows clients who use large amounts of storage to pay only for what they use, while keeping email service affordable for everyone else.

How to check your storage usage

You can view your current email storage usage at any time from the Mailboxes page in your WebStarts account dashboard.

How to stop storage charges

If you prefer not to pay for additional storage, simply reduce the mailbox size to under 1 GB.

Once storage drops below 1 GB, metered billing automatically stops.

Ways to quickly reduce email storage

Many customers are able to reduce their storage quickly by:

• deleting emails with large attachments

• clearing old sent mail

• emptying the trash folder

• removing older messages that are no longer needed
