Working with Website Verification Files

Verification files are a way third-party services like Google can make sure you're the owner of a website. Take a look at the short video and steps below to see how you can upload verification files to your website...

1. Download the verification file from the service your are working with which requires you verify site ownership.
2. From the WebStarts dashboard, hover over the site image and click the Settings icon at the lower/right corner of the image.
3. Click the Verification File Upload button, locate the Verification File downloaded in Step 1 and double click to complete the upload. Note: select Website's Root if asked to upload to the root or select /.well-known if asked to upload to that location.
