Importing Products To Your WebStarts Store With A CSV File

Whether moving from another eCommerce platform or just wanting to edit multiple products at a time, the Product Import and Export tools provided in your WebStarts Store Manager make the process easy.

Importing Products Using A CSV File

NOTE: Refer to the Product Import CSV File Format table to ensure that your exported file fields and headers match what we have provided. If it does not match, your upload may fail to process.

  1. From your WebStarts Account dashboard, click the Store panel to open your Store Management console.
  2. From the Products tab, click the Import CSV button.
  3. Click the Paperclip Upload icon to open your File Manager and then click the Upload tab.
  4. Locate the file to be uploaded on your computer and double click to upload to your File Manager.
  5. Select the newly uploaded file and then click the Insert File button to prepare the file for import.
  6. Once complete, you will see a preview of the products uploaded. If happy with what you see, click the Import button to complete the import process.

Once complete you should see all of the newly imported products listed under the Products tab.


Make Multiple Product Changes Using The Product Export Feature

  1. From your WebStarts Account dashboard, click the Store panel to open your Store Management console.
  2. From the Products tab, click the Export CSV button to export a CSF file of all of your products.
  3. Open the downloaded Product CSV file in your preferred spreadsheet editing software and edit your product(s) as required.
  4. Save the changes to the file.

Once happy with the changes made, refer to the Importing Products Using A CSV File steps above to upload your newly edited file.
