Creating Anchor Tags On Your Site

Creating Anchor tags on your site, allowing your site visitor to link to a specific location of page, can be done in as little as a few clicks. Check out the video and steps below to see how you can add these to your WebStarts website now...

1. From within the page editor, click the + Add icon located in the left sidebar
2. Scroll down and click or drag Anchor to drop an Anchor on to the page.
3. Double click the Anchor to name it accordingly and then drag it to where you want the page to scroll to when linked.
4. Now that the Anchor has been created and placed, create a Hyperlink using one of the many ways to do so from within the editor. Here are a few choices: http://help.webstarts.com/search?query=hyperlink
5. Be sure to choose Anchor when choosing where to link to and then select the page and which anchor on that page from the provided drop downs.
6. Save the link you have created as well as the page and be sure to then test it on your live site.
