Working with Music

Adding Music to Your Site

It can be a fun touch to have music playing in the background when someone comes to visit your website but be careful. Many of your site visitors may find the music to be an annoyance and may opt to leave your page rather than figure out how to turn down the noise.

Setting Music To Auto Play

If you want music to start playing when someone visits your a page on your site you'll need to set the music player to auto play. To set auto play, first upload your music and then check the box marked auto play in the left panel of the file manager when the music tab is selected.

Setting Music To Loop

By default your music will play one time through and then stop. If you want your music to continuously play you must enable the loop function. To enable the loop function, first upload your music and then check the box marked loop in the left panel of the file manager while the music tab is selected.

Positioning The Player on Your Page

Now that you've uploaded your music file and chosen whether you'd like to enable loop and auto play it's time to insert the player onto your page. To insert the player click on the music file and then click the Insert File button. You can then drag and drop your music player wherever you'd like it to appear on your website.

Supported Music File Formats

When uploading music be sure to use a supported file type. Here's a list of supported audio file types for your reference.
