The word 'Blog' is short for 'web log' but it’s really just an online diary. Blogs typically display time and date stamps along with a section for readers to post comments. A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is referred to as 'blogging' and someone who keeps a blog is referred to as a 'blogger'. Blogs are most effective when updated frequently and they require little or no technical background to update and maintain. Postings on a blog are arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently.
