Adding HTML Code To Your Website

WebStarts provides the ability to add HTML code of your WebStarts website. While we work hard to develop the tools to avoid having to do so, you may still end up needing to add some sort of tracking code or 3rd party app embed. Take a look at the steps below for help adding HTML code to your site...

NOTE: When adding the HTML Code for the site, it's always a good idea to first do so on a test page to make sure that the changes you are making are not going to create a conflict on the page. Once you are happy with the changes, go ahead and apply those to the live page or pages.

  1. From the WebStarts editor, click Add > Embed Code to add HTML code to your page.
  2. To add code located in the Body section of your page, select the Paste Code tab in the left panel and then paste the code provided as required and then click the Insert button.
  3. To add code to the Head section of your site, select the View Site Head labeled tab located in the left panel and paste the code and then click the Insert button. Tip: you can add Schema code to the Site Head if you want it site-wide or to the Page Head for a single page.
  4. To add code to the Head section of a particular page, toggle to the page as if you're going to edit it, then click Add > Embed Code, then select the View Page Head labeled tab located in the left panel and paste the code and then click the Insert button.
  5. Be sure to save your changes and view your live site to ensure the changes made are shown.
