Adding Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication provides an extra layer of security by requiring you to enter a code that is texted to you or sent to an authenticator app on your phone. To add two-factor authentication to your WebStarts email address, follow these steps.

Step 1. Login to Webmail by heading to https://mail.b.hostedemail.com/.

Step 2. Click the Settings tab on the left, then click Password > Two-Factor Authentication.

Step 3. You can either enable two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator app or SMS:

Google Authenticator - click "Enable with Google Authenticator" then enter the current password for your mailbox and click Submit, then scan the QR code and enter the code generated within the app.

SMS - click "Enable with SMS" then enter the current password for your mailbox and your mobile phone number, then click Submit and enter the verification token that is texted to you.
