Getting Your Website Back Online
While keeping your website online is our #1 priority, there are a number of things out of our control which may lead to your site being taken offline.
- Billing - Have you missed a payment for the renewal of your website and/or your domain name? Be sure to double check by accessing the Billing tab located under the drop down in the upper right corner of your account dashboard.
- Domain Settings - If you have a domain name registered outside of WebStarts or have otherwise not pointed it to your WebStarts website, your site you build with us may not be displayed when visiting your domain. You can review the DNS for your domain under the My Domains tab, located under the drop down in the upper right corner of your account dashboard.
- Corrupt HTML Code - Have you added HTML or some other type of code to your page and are now unable to get to it? If you are familiar with how to edit the HTML of the site, then be sure to jump in and try to remove what was added and see if that clears it up by clicking the Edit > HTML Code tab within the page editor.
