Adding HTML Code To Your Website

WebStarts allows you to add HTML code from other websites and services such as YouTube and Photobucket (just to name a couple) so that you may display 3rd party applications within your WebStarts website.

Once you have the HTML code you wish to use, you can add it to your webpage by clicking  Insert > HTML Code. Choose where you would like to add that code from the panels on the left, paste the code into the window provided and then click ‘OK’. This will drop the code into your Webpage where you can then drag and drop it where ever you like. Once saved, your new HTML code application can be viewed by visiting your live web page.

Note: Some HTML applications such as Javascript embeds may not properly render themselves while in the editor view. You will likely have to save the page and view it live to check the functionality of the code added. It is because of this that we always recommend adding new code to a test page before doing so on your live site.
